will also look into this one, although I am pretty sure this is fixed in
recent GEMS. 1.3.x GEMS in general did not shut down central count
cleanly.
Did they look for and/or kill GEMS with the task
manager before restarting NT? If the task manager did not show GEMS
and yet they still couldn't open, and this behaviour is reproducable, please
let me know.
No, they did not check in task manager. I believe
the re-starting problem was, as you say, due to GEMS still running.
