Actually you're close.  Just missing a test case and whether this bug is new or not.  The full submission was posted to announce@ 1/18/2001.

 

Assuming it crashes on any database with a candidate type of header, I'll see what I can do.

this crash was caused by selecting a candidate in a race and setting it as a header in the candidate type field.

 

PS Iwas absent during Ken's rcr and bug track submission so this is MOST LIKELY wrong -  but worth a beer
