This was also submitted by Nel 7/22/99 as "reverse text option".
The text background color can now be anything you like, including black. Up 'til now the only way you could do this was with a windows metafile created with CorelDraw or similar. This was due to a limitation in the Microsoft edit control. GEMS now uses a new version of this control. Use the square blue icon in the GEMS editor to set the text background color:
