In GEMS 1.7.4, an election is
defined with two report precincts. The region 'Remote' is defined in the
Region Editor and one of the vote centers (corresponding to the two report
precincts) defined with region Remote. The Election Status is set to
'Set for Election'. 'Remote' is deleted in the Region Editor. The
Vote Center Editor now shows a blank in the Region field for the vote center
set to region 'Remote' and the vote center no longer appears in the download
console.
Whitman, please get this one. Regions can't be
deleted after set-for-election. Before set-for-election, when a region is
deleted, votecenter that are of that region need to be changed to the default
(ie host) region (like races and deleting districts).
