RE: Doc on CD

All of these guides should be in PDF format.  Adobe Acrobat Reader (just the reader) can be loaded onto the CD free of charge (as we did with the GEMS CDs).  Having the Documents in PDF format will maintain page numbering, page content, indexing, and table of contents.  This is important for reference when customers communicate with support staff and to ensure revision control.

I imagine that AccuVote-OS customers will be delivered the AccuVote-OS User's Guide, AccuVote-OS Hardware Guide and GEMS User's Guide, while the AccuVote-TS customers will be delivered the AccuVote-TS User's Guide, AccuVote-TS Hardware Guide, GEMS User's Guide, VCProgrammer User's Guide and Precinct Control Center User's Guide.  The documentation included on install CDs could either vary according to the installation, or we provide everything on one CD.

Yes but I think it is the old July 99 documentation.   Mike Brown configures the GEMS CD content.  Perhaps he can clue us in to what version of the docs are loaded onto the CD.

When we install a new customer, we provide hard copy documentation of the respective manuals.  Do we also provide them on CD to the customer?
