Okay, we're going to
have to do a 1.17.12 then, and cert 1.17.13. at PSINet We can't hold up
releases for real accounts like Jeff has just because PSINet is taking their
time. We'll do a 1.17.12 in the next week or so after some more testing is
complete. Jeff, its up to you whether you want to then upgrade your
accounts 1.17.12, or wait for 1.17.13. Waiting is better, of course,
but I realize they can't wait forever.

We're looking at
roughly 6 weeks to 2 months.

Yeah, your
timing is bad. I'd wait until we are through PSINet with 1.17 before
upgrading anyone. Hopefully that won't take long. If it looks
like it is going to take a long time, then we'll do a 1.17.12 release
without them, and they can cert 1.17.13. Hopefully that won't be
necessary though.
Ken
Jeff,
You should wait before you upgrade, there are some bugs that
are fixed in 1-17-12. Like printing ballots in the Ballot Audit
function in GEMS. Just to name one.

I have several
accounts that are going be upgrading to our latest and
greatest version of GEMS, version 1.17.11. When we send out a
CD to the account, what are the components that come with that
CD besides the GEMS install??? What version of Internet Explorer
are we recommending??? Do we have instructions for
the install process???
Thanks,
JEFF
