Ballot Station NT 4.1.0.0 - General Observations during testing

I am starting to do some basic testing with the new Ballot Station NT 4.1.0.0 software on a Blue and White AVTS unit.  I don't consider these bugs, so I am not writing them up as such.  However, here are a few items that I have currently observed so far.

 

• If you insert the voter card backwards or upside down, you get the Message Card Upside Down Or Not Inserted Correctly, which is great.  However, you also get a small Window stating Error - No Reader Found - with a Retry and Cancel button.  If you remove the card and press the Retry button, all is fine.  But, if you remove the card and press the Cancel button, the system will return you to the desktop.
• When you press the Cast Ballot button, the system will flash back to main screen, where you have the picture of the Voter Card, the Election Name, Precinct Name, etc...
• The main screen, where you have the picture of the Voter Card, the Election Name, Precinct Name, etc...; the background color that is defined for the TS does not show up as defined, however, on the Instruction Screen and Cast Ballot Screen, it does come out correctly.
• Is there a reason why when we go to print reports, that the Printer Window appears???

Maybe some of these issues work OK with the R-6 unit and Windows CE.  I don't know, since I do not have a R-6 unit to test with.
